The Flyers looked like they were spent after the first round. Tippett, I don’t think even played. Vladar looked a lot more vulnerable.
As I’ve said multiple times, it’s always tough to tell what one team is doing compared to what their opponent is forcing them to do. So maybe the way Carolina played, just completely exposed Philly. But the Flyers just didn’t look like they had anything left.
Carolina is 8-0. And they’ve done that even with their top line with Aho and Svechnikov having basically done nothing so far.
