I really do not understand this statement. Does your grocery store not do different sales every week? The Bay usually runs a two week sale, sometimes a monthly. How is that worse?
He can correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure he’s referring to the sales in the store where you had no idea what the actual prices of the items were because they weren’t marked with sale prices. You’d see a sign indicating there was a sale throughout the store but all the goods had regular tags and there was never an employee to ask, so people just ignored the store. It was tedious.
I wrote above that I bought a bunch of pants on sale around Christmas time, I had to check the online store to confirm what the actual prices were because there was no sign saying they were on sale (which they were).
