Devious
I took a different approach. (when GB service was made available to us last year). Neighbors were “Going GB”.
I checked to see what I was using: The highest bandwidth I could nightly achieve was our 4K Roku Ultra. Playing a 4K or 8K certified video on a 4K TV, With Roku on CAT6 via GB Switch)..
So with that going in one room, me updating APPS on iPhone 15
(WiFi), and a computer (CAT6 GB Switch) doing a movie preview in another room, checked to see if any of the systems noticed anything —pause, buffer, slowdown…. Anything go wrong as they all worked simultaneously??
Didn’t do this exercise just once, did it repeatedly over a few weeks. Maybe — once — we had an issue of ‘slow’ on one system.
So, I threw as much as I could at it. And it didn’t burp but once on one system in a couple weeks. So what was I using?
200 MB service. I usually get 200/25 to 200/35.
So, the offer: $51 per month for 200MB service, or, GB for $51 for 6 months, then $81.
So….. I’m not exceeding 200 yet by my own tests. DO I NEED GB? IF I HAD IT, WOULD I NOTICE A DIFFERENCE? A $30 a month Difference?
I can’t justify it… Yet😇
