EP1 Opening Scene was as shown before. I picked up a couple new VFX shots in the opening credits, including a pursuing K7 / K’Tinga class ship and another I think riffs on DS9 Season 4+ with ships clustered around a space station. Loved the “Rip Van Winkle” / “Sleeping Beauty” quip, the scenes between Pelia and Scotty with his “wee device,” and the very alien VFX and interiors of the Gorn ship.
Also I’m loving “I’m Erica Ortegas, I fly The Ship” as a catchphrase.
EP2 La’an doing some very human things with Spock, and seeing La’an dance… Nurse Chapel is back with the bombshell “Dr Korby is my date,” and Pike (almost) popping the question to Captain Batel…
…and doth my eyes decieve me but was that William Campbell I saw? And doth my ears decieve me but was that John De Lance I heard? :gawks: :gawks: :gawks: :gawks: :gawks: :gawks: :gawks: I didn’t quite get the point of the last scene of Erica’s reflection. Was that supposed to be some PTSD? Or a leadin to another episode?
Yeah, there were rough spots in the episodes, but I still enjoyed myself 😃 😃
