Took less time to get in line & vote at lunch than it did to put on my coat & boots to walk to the voting location.

I fear we're going to have a poor turnout as well. 🙁 This was an election we really didn't need

I caught at the bottom of the screen on CBC News Network that advance voting participation was 6%.

I did early voting. Didn't get my card until Friday, and Saturday was the last day for early voting. I think there were four other people in there at the time I was there.

Our advanced poll was very busy when I went on Saturday. Waited in line for about 20 minutes.

Heh Dougie wins a 3rd majority, Lib leader didn't even win her seat, but they barely made official party status.

[deleted] Wrongo, bucko. Crombie may have lost to Patrick Brown's mother-in-law in Mississauga East - Cooksville, but the Liberals won a comfortable margin of 13 + 1 leading over the minimum of 10 for official party status. Ford's victory was expected, but his plurality of seats shrunk.

I don't get it... NDP have way more seats than Liberals despite the latter having way more of the popular vote. 🤔

FrathosCAN That’s what can happen in a First Past The Post riding based system. Just means that the Libs got more votes than the NDP in ridings they lost. Also means that the NDP worked a lot harder in the ridings they won.
