Those are the old terms. The current official term now even here in FL too is “personal representative” which I think is waay too much of a mouthful. The lawyers I was working with would occasionally keep correcting me whenever I said “executor” because I thought it was dumb having to say 8 syllables when an understood 4-syllable equivalent existed. 😉
Why they can’t just stick with “executor” and let that word be gender-neutral and just drop “executrix” is beyond me. They could even drop the “personal” part and just make it “representative”.
“Administrator/administratrix” was a hoot too.
