In a truly strange twist of fate, two people who were declared dead, somehow convinced Charon, and managed to successfully return from the nether world and be with us in the foreseeable future.

One of the person is a young toddler from Arizona who drowned in the family’s swimming pool, declared dead in the ER, but then found breathing 5 - 6 hours later in the hospital’s morgue!! 😲

I’m not sure what exactly the doctor tested and checked before declaring him dead and how that was recorded and documented because he might need that.

In defense of the doctor, there were 76 documented medical cases of the “Lazarus phenomenon” (autoresuscitation) worldwide between 1982 and 2022, so I’m fairly certain that will be his defense.

The other undead is an ex-politician from Iran – Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He was declared dead by several Iranian state-affiliated media outlets on the first day of attacks. Kinda hard to make sense of those reports, but they could’ve been a ruse.

I spent a little time reading and researching this one – curiosity had the best of me and it was a quiet morning at the office. This story is weird - and I’m not talking about the 18 month old coming back from the dead part.

So - the very first mention of the kids name or his family’s name was a GoFundMe set up by a family member on February 12th. The incident itself happened on the weekend of the Superbowl (Feb 8th) at a superbowl party.

The GoFundMe essentially tells the entire story of what happened. That was the last update. Then all of a sudden 3 days ago a dozen media outlets picked up this story and started running with it claiming “updates” or “news” but none of them really contain anything beyond what is written in the GoFundMe other than a few mention no charges filed against the doctor and one mentioned that there might be charges against the parents etc - but as this was 5 months ago and there’s nothing in even local news outlets in Arizona about anything related to the story, its all a little strange.

I’m guessing its the People Magazine story that “resurrected” the whole thing (pun intended) – it’s why all of a sudden in the last 3 days it has appeared in media outlets all over - from CTV and CBC in Canada to Al Jazeera and BBC and ABC Australia. Someone somewhere at People ran across the GoFundMe or knew someone involved, picked it up, and ran with it – and now all the “other” media outlets are putting something up, most just pulling from that People article and the GoFundMe story.

In any event if the story is accurate, the doctor is a jerk….

Because of his attitude and because of his failure to provide aggressive resuscitation.

Just as smart lieutenants in the army know to listen to the sergeants, smart doctors know to listen to the nurses.

In fact to me THAT is the most suspicious part of the story…..but yes it could have been that way.

Absolutely - the family and the little one are EXTREMELY lucky that he’s healing and recovering as well as he is given everything. Absolutely amazing they avoided brain damage - with no thanks to the doctor.
