The only evidence you supplied is “Fuji production level printer” with no model number, or even what kind of printer it was, and that is not a sufficient evidence.
The “because I say so” is usually not an evidence or a proof of anything, except in some very limited circumstances.
In the past I’ve seen people claiming things that would violate the laws of physics, and other very hard to believe things that were only known to themselves, relatives or friends.
I have many years of experience in electronics, and I can safely say that a 22 gauge twisted Al wire would be very unusual, but it’s not impossible, so I’d be more than willing to accept suitable evidence.
