Have happily moved to 140.12.0 ESR

Keep in mind, ESR are promoted as being mainly for corporate/business users—because THEY know that STABILITY is more important than THE LATEST CRAP.

It’s been announced that even the ESR will get more frequent updates, but again, hopefully that will be for security not for “features”.

Possibly for Harry Potter but it would require a lot of extra work for no benefit.

For most users it would create conflicts.

Related tip: If making a conversion from regular to ESR, back up Bookmarks to a separate file before switching (possibly back up settings too, but especially the Bookmarks) so they can be easily reloaded to the ESR.
