Localphone has raised prices for U.S. DIDs for new customers from 99c to $ 3/ month. Which is not too bad but not a steal anymore.
Existing customers pay currently the old price but will be notified about the increase soon.
Considering that they do not have IVR I decided to port one of my DIDs to Callcentric ( and dump the $ 1 (917) callcentric DID) and probably give up the other one once the new price goes into effect.
Sinch/Onvoy bought Localphone DIDs a couple of years ago with the result that the TMO scam filter blocked my own DIDs, lol.
Port out takes several weeks and be prepared to pay $ 10/- for the PIN otherwise the port out will be rejected.
prices for some European DID’s increased as well. I dumped the Belgian one and keeping the NL one which fortunately has not increased.
