Does anyone using a PDF reader other than Acrobat of Foxit reader?

I have a certain PDF file (copy of a book) that occasionally causes Acrobat to toss errors; that doesn't happen with Foxit, but trying to select text and then copy it does NOT work properly.

real_aurgathor I use my browser for PDF files, Vivaldi is what I use, it works well enough for my use.

And of course, most browsers now have PDF reading built-in.

Guy54435 I use my browser for PDF files, Vivaldi is what I use, it works well enough for my use.

I mostly use Firefox as my browser, and there are a couple of major issues with pdfs. One of the biggest one is auto-resizing upon completion of a search -- that is exceedingly annoying, and it's the main reason I don't usually use it.

However, I just installed Vivaldi (had to find an old version that still works with Win 8,1) and based on a first impression (5 mins of use) it works much better with pdfs than Firefox.

I used Foxit for a long time but recently switched to PDF-XChange Editor as my default. I like it for viewing and generally for printing but sometimes it's a little difficult for printing, in which case I just open the file with Foxit and it usually prints properly there. One thing I avoid like the plague is Adobe reader, primarily because I've found it impossible to just have it without them also installing Acrobat against your consent and starting with this trial shit nag to buy it and never letting you just have the free reader. Typical of the ultimate in arrogance that is Adobe. I neither need nor want Acrobat as there are so many other ways to do everything it can do, not to mention that I try to avoid the ultimate in arrogance whenever possible, which BTW is also the case with Intuit--see here.

I don't seem to have that issue. The current issue is with Acrobat is probably because the pdf file in question may be a trial version, that's why Acrobat Reader is giving me occasional errors.

I use Sumatra PDF works well and not bloated like Adobe.
