Image editing filters suggestions?

What are some of your favorite image editing filters? I’ve been away from doing anything creative with Photoshop for a while and want to get back to editing/playing with images. I had and used some filters but it’s been too long for me to remember which they were and where I got them.

Any suggestions for filters for video editing? I use VideoStudio and Premiere Elements.

One of my favorites is GMIC plug-in which is free and compatible with many different editors.
