Dks01 Avernar High winds? That’s an understatement. Bruce County is shut down. Grey County isn’t far behind. Ditched plows all over and pulled off the roads. Roads closed right up the Bruce Peninsula. Now more snow on top of it all.

Dks01 Avernar My kids live up the Peninsula, north of Lion's Head. They have been without power for 18 hours. Batteries are dying. They have no heat. They are surviving. Fortunately it's not bone-chilling cold.
Avernar Dks01 Hydro One outage map shows some areas around Miller Lake are out. My friend is south of Tobermory on the Huron side. He didn’t mention any power issues. Surprised there wasn’t more outages everywhere. We didn’t even get a blip.
