5gbps plan but not even half on upload

Hey all I’ve been on the 5gbps plan for a few months however cannot get anywhere near 5gbps on the upload.
The router is a Firewalla Gold Pro with multiple 10gbps ports, and has its own speed test capability so it’s basically like a speed test being run by plugging desktop into the ONT.
Anyone else run into this issue, some folks on Reddit suspect the speed needs to be repositioned.

JDubbzXL I don’t blame you for wanting what you’re paying for, but that upload is already stellar. I wonder if you’re on a congested splitter.

What are the specs of the computer youre using? Solid state drive? If you have an HDD instead of SSD - youre probably maxing that out.

My eero poe gateway can see the 5gig up and down on my service. My PC struggles. Try speedtest app, command line interface and also have your resource monitor open to see if your cpu and/or disk drive maxes out

The screen shot is from a test run directly from the router/firewall. I can get similar speeds from my main desktop via Speedtest.net it’s a pretty high performing machine.
AMD 5800X3D, 32 GB of DDR4 3600 CL16, C drive is on a WD 2TB SN850X SSD, 10 gbps Intel NIC.
I’d definitely expect this system to be able to push 5gbps on the upload side of things.

JDubbzXL Can you change the speed test server on the Firewalla Gold Pro? I had to change a few using the Speedtest app to realize that speed on upload. If you are getting similar results even after trying different servers, then time to call them and report it.I get this consistently from my eero POE gateway from the ONT.

I am in ZIP 33603 for reference.

I plugged in the Eero with Frontier on the line and was able to pull 5/5. So I am working on Firewalla side of things now.
The device is supposed to handle 10gbps with deep packet inspection enabled, but even disabling it doesn’t change the result.

JDubbzXL Are you on the firewalla subreddit? They frequently respond there. I have been watching the FWG Pro for a while but I can't justify dumping my eero POE gateway for it yet.
