ZZZZZZZ Literally was busy all day yesterday (typical) and I turned on SportsNet. One second later, I am no longer on SportsNet.
Some big differences between this year and last: Last year, when they were down, this didn’t mean it was over. It meant they were down. This year, when they are down, it also means they are done. They are totally unwatchable.
I will mention too: I never buy full-priced replica jerseys and attach a name. I did though. I got myself a City Connect Vladdy jersey. Was pretty pumped when he got his contract.
Now I am thinking this might be the worst contract the Jays have ever signed. Vladdy is worse than a bench player. No power. No batting average. No nothing.
I also want to believe in Varsho, but he kind of sucks at the plate.
So it’s bad enough to deal with Schneider’s inability to help this team win with good decision-making, but the entire team seems disconnected from winning.
I am now calling my Jersey the “City Disconnect”. Seems more accurate.
