Stembolt Just watched the three hour 50 Years Of Music on SNL special, so, so good, brought back lots of memories and was great to relive some of the awesome performances over the last 5 decades! Amazing how many artists appeared on the show over all these years and how so many of them got such a boost in their careers from being guests on the show. It was mentioned that when Adele was first on the show, when she flew over to the US for her appearance one of her songs was at number 44 on the charts and that when she flew home the next day after the show the song had gone to number 3 or 4 overnight. A friend of mine told me about Saturday Night live way back in 1978, just a few years after the show started and I have watched it ever since, missing only a few episodes here and there. Looking forward to the upcoming 'first episode' and the three hour special live celebration.
