urbanriot Since my post above the price briefly dropped here, the lowest I saw was CAD $1.08/L but last 24 hours around CAD $1.18 ~ $1.22.
It was about that in Ottawa on Friday, last time I noticed. Honestly, I don’t pay a lot of attention to the price of gas any more - with a PHEV I’m buying gas so rarely that I’d have to actually keep a written log and go through it to register a trend with gas prices. This isn’t the thread to evangelize about buying an electric car, but if you’re looking to buy a new car you should defs at least consider a PHEV if not a BEV. If you drive it into the ground, the gas savings alone over its lifetime will more than pay for the difference in cost.
