Amazon has recently published new developer documentation for an unreleased Fire TV operating system that is based on Android 14. To the relief of many Fire TV and Android enthusiasts, this at least confirms that the current lineup of Fire TV models will not be the final ones to use an Android-based operating system. However, this certainly doesn’t rule out the possibility of a Fire TV running Vega OS being released.
