I've already seen a couple posts, both with great extensions and what they do, but it might be nice to get a mega-thread going so we can all share and maybe pick up a few new ones.

I'll start:

uBlock Origin: Very good (great even?) adblocker.
1Password: Password manager. Does a good job for my family with shared vaults.
DarkReader: Adds dark mode for sites with some ability to configure.
Privacy Badger: Tracker blocker. Hard to tell how well this works but it does report blocked trackers.
Sponserblock: Skips in-video sponsorship segments on YouTube. This depends on community participation to report.
Keepa: Adds price tracking to Amazon so you can see lowest historical price since Amazon jacks up prices and then puts on “sale”.
Bypass Paywalls Clean: Bypasses paywalls on news sites.
FB Purity: Allows you to customize Facebook so it gets rid of a lot of the garbage.
Augmented Steam: Adds more functionality to Steam’s webpage, like lowest price, historical price, and from where.
Reddit Enhancement Suite: Adds a lot of functionality to reddit. My favorite feature is subreddit filters (I have hundreds) which persist between accounts.

broknsymetry Grabbing that Copy PlainText one. What's the use-case for the Logitech one? I have a Logitech mouse and don't really notice any scrolling issues, but I could just be missing them.

hellmagethevile It makes the scrolling using the mouse wheel much smoother (not as chunky). You also have to have the Logitech SetPoint software installed. I just turned it off to see the difference, there was none noticeable but it might require a FF restart which I'm not prepared to do right now. I'll try later and report back.

Is there an extension that lets you add favicons to sites that don't show one when accessed (like this one)? 😊 I use Favicon Changer in Chrome, but the FF version doesn't seem to work.

ElQuintron yesterday you posted about Dark Reader when people were asking for a dark theme. The default on this site wasn't as bad but other sites I use are brutal on my eyes plus apps like MS Office with the white background. I installed the Dark Reader extension and it words great for FF in all my open tabs so thanks for the suggestion. This has been a concern for a while so I even ordered a Anti-Blue Light Filter for my Monitor to help with other apps.

On your Don't Accept image/webp extension, do you have Strip image/avif checked too?

Installing Age Restriction Bypass for YouTube was a bitch via a manual zip file install from its repo - https://github.com/zerodytrash/Simple-YouTube-Age-Restriction-Bypass/releases . Had to first toggle xpinstall.signatures.required .

The image converter looks good. I hate downloading an webp image and having to convert it in Paint or Gimp.

[edit] Just checked, looks like webp images load fine here, DSLR didn't like them.

A tad surprised some of you aren't using the open source and free Bitwarden instead of LastPass and 1Password. Bitwarden's user interface just got spruced up.

Mostly out of laziness and forcing my whole family to use it, they all know how to use 1Pass. Which means that anything they sign up for on their phones or computers gives them a one pass option. I don't want to go through the hassle of teaching them all something new. This ensures they all have good passwords for everything.

SearX is an anonymized open source Metacrawler with a lot of customization, vs. DDG which is based on Bing, but with DDG's special sauce on top. I usually start with DDG because it's easy, then go down the list if I don't find what I'm looking for.

DDG > SearX > Mojeek > Startpage > Google DDG has me mostly covered but SearX is a good project.

bbbc I can't remember, it auto-installed onto FF when I logged in on Garuda Linux... I've had it for a while.

For Bypass Age Restrictions, I pilfered the xpi file from my Windows install, it's hit or miss, but I can't get the greasemonkey version working.

Bitwarden, uBlock Origin, Imagus, Tampermonkey, Bypass Paywalls Clean. I run the script versions of FB Purity and Social Fixer which are both Facebook extensions, so that is what I use Tampermonkey for.
