I have been using FB Purity for many years. I also use Social Fixer. I spend a lot of time on Facebook because I own and admin several groups and help to admin another one. Both of these extensions allow me to remove ads as well as to be able to customize what I see on Facebook. I would be lost without them.

Do both of those extensions work together with their defaults?

bbbc , technically yes. However, the Hide/Show feature in Social Fixer (SFX) and the "Hide" links feature in FB Purity do overlap a bit. My suggestion is to use FB Purity first to hide what you do not wish to see and if then necessary, use SFX to try to hide what FB Purity won't.

KingB71 , same here. I am a little dismayed that SFX has not really come out with any new versions in quite a while, but the features I use on it still work for me. The man who owns and develops FB Purity keeps that more up to date and reacts to changes that Facebook makes pretty quick.
