The reason i'm posting it, is to state this observation, based on my own experiences:
What may be sorta similar to the thoughts expressed in below video, is that the movers and shakers of the internet have long been programming global society to cave in to specific styles/preferences (even if the needs & nature of some individuals within society only fit within a niche group). There are ultra-dominant people within most groups, and because they're often prolific with grandfathered votes, they hold sway, and most within the group will kowtow to them. So IMO little by little, the sense of individuality has been eroding in favor of the dominators of various groups within the www. In a nutshell, people have become programmed/acclimated to "oppression". And I'm not even sure many of them realize it's oppression, because they've adjusted to group-think.
So the situation is - that minority ideas and suggesions (even if they'd be helpful to only one or two others who fit inside a similar minority) are not being heard from anymore, because they know its hopeless due to the way tunnel-minded technologists have designed message boards, and, subsequently, social media. I saw it happening long ago, and i knew the way to change its course, by merely changing the programming of message boards. But technologists weren't interested, and by now its too late, because everyone has gotten too used to the way social media has evolved.
And yes, i'm aware that AI is said to be exacerbating said situation.
