Turns out I had protection turned on my IPhone while in the Philippines ( just got back yesterday ) and while there I made a purchase of an app which required my Apple password. I’ve given up writing it down where I can find it, haven’t found a better alternative than just resetting it for the rare occasion I buy something, and so upon asking for a reset, I had to wait an hour for the stolen device protection requirement.
