Well. I'm not expecting anyone to find and come flooding this place but, hey, if anybody from QC being an Ebox subs and have issues or questions, well, I look forward to read you and hopefully I can help.

DSLR being gone is a huge loss - hopefully, whoever has server access can make the database available and someone can make it read only. That place has a gold mine of information dating all the way back from the beginning of the 2000s and even before.

Huge loss indeed, I do miss direct support forums. 3 days to get a reply from support@ebox.ca (when the issue was clearly on their side to boot). Good thing I told them where to look (they fixed it, but no feedback). They need some sort of ticketing system.

Dick I don't know the fact that they stopped Direct Support a month before the shutdown was a sign that the remaining staff planned the shutdown or knew it was on the horizon and decided to contact the ISPs to let them know of the impending doom.

As for myself, the only thing I had ever reached out Ebox for, really, was to get promos applied (such as the CAA 10% off one). I guess there was that one time there was an outage and my hardware was showing lights I didn't know the meaning of... Otherwise, it's smooth sailing and I don't regret being on Ebox.

Lebon14 , I don't either. Been with them since 2004. Only issues I've had was with their TV service, once. Their TVA/LCN feeds both had issues that affected recordings and live TV. Since I have TVA+ and an OTA setup, this was a minor issue for me. Still, having the opportunity to talk with network people made things a lot easier.

Improvise, adapt. Overcome.

Glad to see some people moved here. Really sad to know dslreports is gone for real this time.
Not an ebox sub anymore but maybe will come back one day. However, the loss of direct forums and mostly the fact that competent employees are lurking the forums weighs huge in my decision.

+1 for EBox QC subs, I'll miss having EBox direct also.
