Donoreo The IT Nerd thought maybe Bell had fixed their legendary poor service, he was wrong. https://itnerd.blog/2025/02/02/bell-canada-seriously-needs-to-fix-their-customer-service-issues/
Dks01 Bell has two customer support strategies. Reboot the modem or replace the modem. On the other hand, their Virtual Repair Tool does work on specific issues, too. The fibre installs are variable, as well. See the Community Forum for more.
nekkidtruth Brutal. Interestingly enough, Bell was also the reason I originally ended up on DSLR. I was a Sympatico customer who was so disgruntled by the atrocious service in my area at the time. That area has been upgraded to Fibre now (via telephone poles). It went live in 2023. So nearly two decades of >5Mbps in that area. Just thinking about that disgusts me and brings up the sheer rage I feel for Bell LOL
Avernar When my sister had line issues (wrote about it on DSLR) at least they told her it would take 3-4 business days to get a new GH or she could pick one up herself. She decided to pick one up herself. They did 3 modem swaps. Couldn't imagine waiting 3-4 business days for each swap. Pedantic pet peeve alert! The HH4K and GH are not modems.
