I noticed that my In Demand PPV channels (785 and 1201 in Northeast PA) have changed names from “iNHDPPV” to “HDPPV-FD” and guide listings say “next event coming soon”. I did see that the In Demand consortium will be dissolving and returning content to the cable providers here, but no direct information on the few linear PPV channels left.
After about 7 Comcast agents, one of them gave me some possible information on the fate of the channels. She had a notification that said that the channel is in negotiations for licensing and regional access (which makes sense), but could not give a date as to when things will return to normal.
Does anyone have news on this? I do enjoy the music programs and like ordering PPV for “nostalgia” purposes.
