I thought the first episode was OK. Not spec but good enough to be curious as to where it might be going. Definitely worth another look see.

The lead rubbed me the wrong way in the first episode.

I'm not sure why shows decide to have their lead played as 'hyper-competent, humourless and arrogant'. I think, by default, your lead is going to be hyper-competent. They don't need to spent the entire show telling everyone how great they are.
