So back to the usual, highly ideological “spiel” of undercounting that has never been substantiated to the degree claimed by some. 😉
They started out with lots of COVID cases, enough to make them build some new hospitals in Wuhan, but afterwards they had the harshest and longest shutdown, and that in itself should’ve been enough to significantly lower the case count.
Interestingly enough, the very same people often claim that the US had overcounted deaths and cases while data based on excess deaths indicates the exact opposite.
A new study from the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts, Boston University and University of Pennsylvania, published in the Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences, shows about 1.2 million excess deaths in the pandemic’s first 30 months.
