gwailodan That would be my guess - it's not a place to get comfy and hang out - if you need info, go get it, the data is available, find your old friends, etc -- but this keeps bandwidth usage , cpu usage, and disk usage down significantly reducing hosting cost -- the database won't grow, they can use a low tier bandwidth package, etc - so for something that is being sunset, it is low cost, no maintenance, no mods, but data still available.
