Obi 300 Configuration

I have been successfully using an Obi 202 with the Ozark Edge configuration. I want to procure a couple of Obi to configure because my Ob110 can’t be encrypted.

My question is am I OK by using the Ozark Edge configuration guide for the Obi 200 or Ob i300.

Sure, more or less… just leave out the Line 2 bits.

Incidentally, are you using my dial plan and trunk group scheme, too? I would not think so since it’s different from what most users configure.

My notes (and dial plan) are for the OBi202 which has a second analog phone port, Line 2 or L2. So, any configuration references to using that port do not apply if that port does not exist on your OBi. For instance, Voice Service SP1 is configured for Line 1 port and SP2 for Line 2 port on my OBi202… extensions 101 and 102 on VoIP.ms. Plus, I setup the Line 2 port to be more FAX compatible.

I see what you are saying. I will know better when I get it in my hand. I think that the Obi300 is like the Obi110 with SP1 & SP2 on the single phone port. Different incoming ring patterns and a default outgoing with **1 & **2 for non default selection.

The Obi 300 were shipped this morning so we shall see.

I purchased the two Obi300 from Amazon described as “Condition: Used - Mint”. I paid $27.95 each plus tax I have Prime so there was no shipping. They came from two different locations one arrived yesterday and one today. One was In a factory sealed box the other was in a factory box that was opened and an inspection sticker was affixed to the box. Everything inside was sealed in the factory bags. I set both of them up today with no issues other than cockpit.
