Starlink said it had a “network outage” today, between 4 and 6:30 PM EDT. Don’t know if that had anything to do with them rolling out T-Mobile’s Starlink-powered “T-Satellite” satellite service yesterday.

Elon Musk’s Starlink network has “mostly recovered” after is experiencing an outage that left thousands without internet connection.
Company VP Michael Nicolls posted an update to X, nearly two and half hours after the outages were first reported on Thursday afternoon. “The outage was due to failure of key internal software services that operate the core network,” Nicolls explained.
“We apologize for the temporary disruption in our service; we are deeply committed to providing a highly reliable network, and will fully root cause this issue and ensure it does not occur again.”
