Before it was generally dark mode but the messages were black on white but now they’re white on black. The light mode gives me that with the whole thing that way which is awful and none of the options bring me back to the light message with the general dark mode. It’s ok the way it is though. It looks like the old Spam folder is now just called Junk because when I unsubscribe to the Spam folder the Junk one disappears and on the gmail website view there’s no Junk but just a Spam folder. I did look on another system I have that still has v128 and it has the old Spam and no Junk one, so it appears to have just been renamed with v141. I’d almost rather not have either and never even see any of it but with that arrangement they will needlessly take up space until they are automatically deleted by the server after 30 days.
Update: There’s a little switch I just noticed that wasn’t there with v128 on the far right of the subject line on each message and moving that to the right stuck with the old scheme of general dark mode but all messages are now black on the white background. I’ll just be using that more out of familiarity than anything else. I do generally like dark mode but am used to the light background in Thunderbird and on web pages like Yahoo, etc.
Thank you again for help!
