Won't stay logged in

Did something happen with the site with regard to the cookie that remembers you are logged in?

I normally always stay logged in, but today when I came to site I was not logged in. So I logged in, clicked the check box to remember me and then closed my browser. Upon going back to the site, again I was not logged in.

Identical Behavior on four different browsers, three different devices, cache and cookies cleared, yada yada, etc etc.

Something has changed.

I’m still logged in, FWIW. Currently jumped to your thread on my iPhone in Safari.

InternetJeff Seems all good here using Vivaldi browser.

InternetJeff Does your browser clear its cache when closed? The site is very likely looking at your browser cookies to determine your login status. No cookie, you’re not logged in.

Donoreo I was logged out earlier.

That’s how it started with me. Kept trying with multiple browsers on multiple devices, and finally it just started working again on all devices and all browsers. Gremlins I guess.

Not normally. Several other sites stayed logged in, so I don’t know what the issue was. Anyway it appears to be back to normal.

It seems hit-and-miss with me now, regardless of the browser or device I’ve used in the past two days. But they all act the same, whether I’m staying logged in, or being logged out. If one browser stays logged in, they all stay logged in. If one browser ends up being logged out, they all end up being logged out. Device independent. Very peculiar.
