How do I reply to a post while quoting it? (meaning, showing a quote of the post I'm replying to in my reply, if that makes sense)

Highlight the text you want to quote, and the word "Quote" will appear. Click on it. The text will appear at the cursor in the reply box.

The text will look like this in the reply box.:

And end up looking like this when you click "Post Reply."

When you highlight a portion or all of the post a "quote bubble" should appear. Clicking on it will insert highlighted text into your response. You can do this with multiple posts or multiple sections of text within a post..

I'll add that you can quote text at any time.

If you quote something, a reply box will pop up. Or you could be in the middle of posting something and then quote some text in the thread.

...definitely some learning on the fly... yeah, the UI takes a bit of getting used to, but there's some things to like.
I for one like the longer thread titles so far. I'll have to give the text formatting a try.

Oohh, I was wondering how to do that. I was replying to a comment would quote it for me automatically! Maybe the forum owner can add that.

Flipside which is more precise:

Copy what you want (the first part of what you would do as a Copy/Paste)---just Copy (Select) what portion you want, then click on the Quote box that appears, this will generate a reply for you automatically.
