Wife and I always use Enterprise (which now also owns National and Alamo).
Enterprise/National is now bigger than Hertz in the US market.
Enterprise was founded by WW2 naval aviator Jack C. Taylor, who named the company for the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise on which he had served.
The company is still largely run by the Taylor family.
By contrast, HERTZ has been in trouble. They bought too many electric cars.
And as above, having your customers wrongly arrested is not smart either.
Hertz stock had lost 90 percent of its value over a 3-year period, and now a billionaire has bought a big stake.

No wonder HERTZ seems desperate for money.
HERTZ seems to have a lot in common with “Voipo” although at least “Voipo” does not have people falsely arrested.
