When they called Robert De Niro’s character a "true bipartisan" in this trailer, I laughed out loud. 🙂

His character is given Fascist/Tyrant level of authority and power over people. The irony....

I'm 3 episodes in and so far it's pretty good.

Edit: I forgot to mention that for some reason I was only getting 2 channel audio from the Netflix app on my TV, Nvidia Shield, and Fios TV+ stream box. And it only happened for this show, and not other stuff that I tried streaming.
I ended up downloading the episodes and watching them with the better DD audio.

So I finished up the series and overall it was pretty good.
The cast did a great job with what they were given, but there were some head-scratching writing decisions. I think Lizzy Caplan and Bill Camp should have had more screen time.
The story was pretty good, with a few twists and some surprising scenes.
There were a couple of scenes where you'd think: "they can't do that, can they?" But the Zero Day Commission, created to investiagte the attack, was granted the extreme power to act as if sections of the U.S. Constitution didn't exist. A few months ago I'd have said that the plot was far-fetched.
It's a pretty short binge-watch at only six 50-minute episodes. I think it's worth the time.

ZZZZZZZ A season 2 would be great, but I have no idea how that would work considering how the series ended.

Watched the first episode, not sure I'll watch the rest, it just wasn't... good.

It has a great cast but it feels like it's written by high school students that have a rough understanding of how the government works so they could make whatever this is. And whatever this is, it's not really gripping me. It feels like something you'd find on CBS.

I just learned of the existence of this on MSNBC. Once I knew it was yet another doomsday movie and De Niro was in it that all followed a logical course of events.

Astyanax But It's not a doomsday movie. The story is about a limited-duration cyber attack that affects the entire U.S. and the team put together to investigate it.

Also, it's not a movie, it's a 6-episode series.
