Is this around Toronto somewhere?
If he’s getting bad Wi-Fi, I suspect it’s the apartment more than Rogers modern devices being bad, unfortunately.. like the old white Hitron tower may not be great, but even it is okay. Anything newer should be better.
Is his problem range, or is he sitting right beside it most of the time?
Sometimes people are still trying to use 2.4GHz only devices, so maybe the device he’s using to connect?
More and more I hear of places where even the 5ghz Wi-Fi is saturated. If that’s the problem it might be expensive to fix.
I’d want to eliminate the Rogers box too, for a full set of tech minded features, more personal control, and spying on my data type reasons, but the Wi-Fi should be pretty good in them.
