I turned 47 during the second week of the covid shutdowns in 2020, about 3 weeks after I got out of the hospital from gall bladder removal - there was no restaurant options, limited drink options, etc. - my wife and son and I spent the day playing mario party on our Nintendo Switch and I vaguely remember her making me some sort of homemade ravioli or tortellini or some pasta-ish thing like that, no birthday cake. That one will always stand out in my memory as I had just been switched to WFH full time but they didn’t have any “W” for us yet at that point as most everything had been shut down - it was a good month before I actually “W’d” when WFH - so it was about a month of paid stay at home vacation as we weren’t obviously going anywhere else.
