I don’t want to be seen champing that brand, it’s terrible stuff, however it does sell and in large volumes thanks mostly to decades of marketing, but the battle between producers and grocers (when Loblaws controls 40%) of the market share probably should have been discussed. In addition there is the issue of global supply which despite the opinions of some is most definitely influenced by generalized climate changes which are reducing crops in the short and long term, and are also increasing in frequency and severity but again this is not even broached in the story.
