telcodad just wait…once the owners get their 18th game (and they WILL get it), there’ll be an extra bye week, and the Super Bowl will be pushed to Presidents’ Day weekend going head-to-dead with NASCAR’s Daytona 500.

btw, next year’s Super Bowl falls on February 14 (Valentine’s Day) so plan accordingly fellas! 🙂

In case anyone is interested, the Olympic games are starting today. (Opening ceremony is Friday.) In the US all of the games are streaming on Peacock. Today, curling is on at 1:05 PM - Canada vs. Czechia.

Back in 2018 I think it was, I watched the US men’s team win the gold medal match live at 2 or 3am. It was every bit as riveting as a Super Bowl.

A curling match between Canada and Sweden on Friday erupted with a profanity-laced back-and-forth over cheating allegations.

Near the end of the contest, an 8-6 win for Canada’s Team Brad Jacobs over Sweden’s Team Niklas Edin, Oskar Eriksson of the Swedes appeared to accuse Canada’s Marc Kennedy of double-touching stones to gain an advantage.

Kennedy didn’t take it well.

I was too young to remember seeing him play, but I’ve always enjoyed listening to his Redskins game broadcast team (Sonny, Sam [Huff] and Frank [Herzog].
And locally, 106.7 The Fan is paying tribute all afternoon, and even playing the original ‘Hail to the REDSKINS’ fight song….beautiful.

I wasn’t. When he played for the Eagles, it was always Jergensen to McDonald. So, when we played, I was McDonald and my friend with a GREAT arm was Jergensen.
Memories are dying.

Obv ALL IN on the Seahawks winning, hoping for an offensive explosion from Kubiak(the Seahawks OC who will be the new coach of my LV Raiders) & from Darnold.

This way it’s good optics/feel good feels coming into the Raiders HC position off of a Super Bowl win.
