takeahike
takeahike Anything coming internationally is a recipe for disaster, so you should have been more careful.
And do you have any evidence to back that up?
takeahike I won’t buy anything that’s coming that way, even if as is often the case–especially with items from China–that I have to pay more.
Most of my out of country purchases were from China/Hong Kong, and historically, I found shipping from there 100% reliable, meaning that I have not had a single lost package. I’ve had some cases when wrong/fake items were shipped either bey accident or by intention, but regardless of that, all packages (likely well over 100 over the years) arrived, On a few occasions it took 3 - 4 days, but 2 - 4 weeks were more common when using the default/cheapest shipping option. And in a few cases I’ve had wait times in the vicinity of 6 - 8 weeks, Obviously, I was always planing ahead, and when I needed something quick, I either bought is locally, but more often than not, I bought it from a US seller. And I shall note that probably in about 25 - 33% of the US purchases, it took more than 2 - 3 weekdays for an item to s be in possession of the shipper from the time the tracking number was created.
The majority of my international purchases were via eBay with a few other companies such as aliexpress, vevor, temu, amazon.uk, etc., thrown in here and there.
Obviously, tariffs really messed things up, but that’s a slightly different issue.
