Can i delete ISO file from flash drive easily? Ditto boot file?

If i download the Win-Media ISO file and boot-file onto a flash drive, can they be easily deleted in future, just as if you delete any files from a flash drive?

And once they’re deleted, would the flash drive be usable once again - for storing DOC or .JPG or MP4 files?

(Just wanting to know if Win-Media downloads are reversible.)

Depends on how they’re stored.
Some tools bulldoze¹ harshly, others make it EZ.
¹ (as in shrink the only partition/filesystem.)

minni You could delete any file on NTFS or FAT as long as the media isn’t write protected. Not sure why you’d want to store an ISO on a on a flash drive. Generally you’d use a disk imaging software like Rufus to write/burn the ISO or *.img the flash drive.

If your flash drive is bootable you could use DiskPart (built in Window Utility) to CLEAN the drive. When you use DiskPart make sure of your target disk. Basically it Diskpart / List Disk / Select disk # / CLEAN then format normally

Thanks! So, in a nutshell, Win-Media downloads are reversible (however complicatedly), and I can revert back to having a regular flash-drive that’s formatted the way it was when new. As for the above technical instructions, i can cross that bridge if/when needed. Is that correct?
