After a whopping 15 years, History is bringing back this series with a new Season 3 on July 14, 2025.

No video I could find yet, but did see an ad for it on History. This is the Wikipedia article on the series.

Andyross The original show was neat for a few episodes but then they beat it to death.

The bottom line everyone knew before even watching the show was without anyone to maintain stuff it will eventually fall apart into rubble no matter how big it is (duh!). I guess they think a new generation of people have grown up enough now may not know this? Even the engineers and scientists they interview on the show seem to fidget in their seat and have this frustrated “what do you think would happen?! Can I get my check and go now?” look on their faces. 😉

I highly recommend the animated film “Flow” which won prizes this year.

Available on various platforms including Amazon Prime, HBO, etc.

There is no spoken dialog, by the way.

Now airing. Did notice they had a notice about AI generated imagery, and AI scenes do have an AI logo near the lower left.

Is it just a “remastering” of the old series? I can’t see how much different it could be.

It is totally new. Some of the broad subjects seem similar to earlier seasons, but I think the individual examples within are unique.
