Instead, they should simply say it like it is: merger-absorbed employees must accept the new corporate edicts or quit. (And if not enough employees quit to meet corporate-determined quotas, then the layoffs will start.)

kn100 Kinda heartbroken about this. I felt that the pixel 9 series was a total slam dunk on all accounts and maybe the first time there were zero compromises compared to the fruitphones. Hopefully this doesn't spell the end of anything important!

HooRU I love my Pixel. AS a phone first and foremost, it excels, excellent call screening. And it does most of the other things decently enough, and more importantly it is affordable and not fancy pantsy.

HooRU Pixel 7, updated to current OS version, I don’t even remember what it is. As far as influence, I’ve owned Apple and Samsung phones in the last and I didn’t like them at all. Stock apps. Vanilla is good when you get the real stuff, y’know?
Donoreo HooRU Vanilla is good when you get the real stuff, y’know? This is why I moved to Pixel (3 Pro, 6 and 7) after a Samsung (maybe 2 of them?) and before that a Sony (it was a great phone too) when I switched from an iPhone 4s. I like the Pixels. Motorola are also pretty vanilla, but they do not provide OS upgrades for long enough.
