neftv Is anyone experiencing Fios internet outage in Marple PA area? No DHCP address given now and yes I restart my Opnsense router. Everything was working up till this morning
neftv Wow I logged into my verizon account. Its an area issue and in progress of repair now est 1:30pm . the first real outage in like how many years. Hope this does not start a trend.. FiOS been so good since 2007.
neftv That repair closed as repaired. But my service is down still. Did the online troubleshooter to reboot my router then ONT. The ONT shows fail light on it. As continuing the troubleshooter online it took my number and now said it will be repaired by 1:15 am Saturday. I don’t know what gives..
Sparkchaser Have you checked with neighbors? Been fine out here in Chester Cnty. Went through Wayne this morning and a number of trees down and roads closed.
pjsutton I had a POTS/DSL outage from about 1 PM Friday afternoon to 6 PM Monday night… wonder if it was related!
neftv I meant to update this thread. I got my fios internet service back sometime early Saturday morning. I have no ideal what happen.. I did notice they have me on the 100..x.x.x. Address scheme. Before I was on the 74.x.x.x. Address. I remember there was a thread about this addressing scheme on the old DSL reports forum back in the day but I dont remember outcome of discussion…. Cloudfares BGP test fails now where before it passed too.. I
