I think this may have something to do with the Cox merger and Disney didn’t want to lose out on more subscribers to these channels when the deal is likely to be closed on in 2026.

Hopefully this means all systems will get Nat Geo Mundo in HD. I know they added the HD version to my system about 2 months before they removed the secondary feeds of the Disney nets as a part of the MPEG4 repack.

terabitz and no one is forcing you to get their TV package. The good news is in 10 years or less they’ll stop offering TV and people can stop complaining about it

Spectrum, a leading provider of cable television and internet services, has confirmed it will increase the price of some of its legacy internet plans by $2 per month starting in July 2025. There will also be a $5 a month price hike on Spectrum Select TV packages.

Bundling services helps offset the price increases by offering more value. I still think cable TV is great value! I love having the variety of programs in one place. All Spectrum TV Select Plans when this is all done will include ad-supported HBO Max, Paramount+ Peacock, AMC+, Disney+, all the Disney channels taken away a few years ago brought back, ESPN streaming (when it launches) along with the option to upgrade to ad-free versions for a fraction of what these channels used to be on their own.

Spectrum claims that through these deals, subscribers will be getting over $100 in programs included. As for the rate increases, no one is forcing anyone to pay for the services. This combines cable/streaming options.

satch The problem is the pricing is swelling especially if you have SPP3 packaging and came off of promo. Internet and TV is over $300 a month on year 4 pricing. I may switch to xumo soon due to the fact they keep increasing the price of cable boxes. it is $45 to lease 3 boxes not including DVR service which is $20 more add about $40 in taxes as well. Although I have entertainment view and the sports view as well.

Love my bulk HOA contract. Hulu is the only network affiliated streamer I am currently paying for, albeit on a promo, but glad I can keep it at no additional cost.
