As a Garmin user, the prevailing issue appears to be file pushed down that supports tracking and syncing GPS. You trigger the issue by starting an activity needing GPS. I have a affected device, but have not had an issue as I've been biking indoors due to the weather so no GPS. So sadly... I did not get my blue triangle badge this week.
