Stembolt I’m sick to death with all these reboots.

Stembolt I can see there maybe being an audience for this stuff with Gen Z and millennial who have not seen the original material and don’t have a cultural connection to any of it. To them it would “new” and “original”.
Yeah but then why do the reboot? To me, most of these reboots are low effort cash grabs made simply to milk the original IP. If younger people have never heard of it, they might as well make something new.
The subject bugs me because all Hollywood is these days is comic books, sequels, and reboots. I go back and watch original movies from decades past and wonder what the hell happened to the creative process in Hollywood.
