Beat all of you, probably because most of you forgot the answers…. and I grew up with it, not my kids.
Just missed the Limewire screenshot ( I said Napster). I was mostly using Macs at the time so it looked different, besides that my file sharing was through BBSs, Newsgroups, IRC, and Hotline. Limewire and Napster came latter. At the time it was sharing single songs at a time over dial-up, apps able to use resume were a godsend. Later it became whole albums, then whole discographies as the connections got faster.
