The Toronto Argonauts, the defending Grey Cup champs, may be in for a tough go this year .. they’ve lost their first two games.

Starting QB Chad Kelly is still recovering from his broken leg in last year’s Eastern Conference final.

The Argos lost 7 players from last year’s starting defense.

The Argos decided to go younger at running back this year. Watching previous Argo running backs A. J. Ouellette & Ka’Deem Carey suiting up for the Roughriders last night made one question the Argos decision.

WalterDnes a record truly any team would be in a hurry to tie or beat. I really wish the red blacks could get their game in order one of these years. We get free tickets to the games through work (they have 100 available for each home game you just fill out a form you want to go and they give you the tix) and I’ve been to a few but I have yet to go to a home winning game 🙁

BC’s Rourke, Stamps Adams & TiCats Mitchell all had outstanding games at QB this week. QBs Roughrider Harris & Redblack Brown also had very good games in a losing cause. The Elks sigh, once again, underwhelmed.

Receiver Kenny Lawler (now a TiCat) continues to prove he’s the best receiver in the league bar none !!

Totally understandable why the Lions made the hard choice choosing Rourke over Vernon Adams but it’s good karma & well deserved that Adams has continued his great play with the Stampeders.
