Dks01 I have better things to do at 3:00 AM.
So do I. But then there’s this thing called insomnia. And surfing the net helps in falling asleep.
Dks01. We also turn our phones off in the evening and overnight. If you text me at 3:00 AM, expect a response at 5:30 AM.
Way to miss the point while simultaneously making it. My friends have their phones set to do not disturb at night. But not their land line. Texting them means they will get the message in the morning. It also means I do not have to keep track of their schedules to know when to call them.
That’s why people prefer electronic messaging over voice calls. Because the expectation is that they’ll reply when they have free time. Calling them and leaving a voice mail to “call me back” is rude as it forces them to check their voicemail to see if something important came in.
Anyways, this has drifted way off topic. I don’t have the will to keep explaining modern communication etiquette to you as you don’t seem to care.
